The Great Duck Race is a charity event in Bend. You buy a duck with a number on it. They dump a zillion ducks in the Deschutes River. Whoever crosses the finish line in Drake Park first, wins stuff. It’s a ton of fun. The most fun part is watching all the volunteer kayakers herding the ducks to get them out of the river!
